He hadn't been here very long, but he had already found somewhere to do his work without being disturbed by other people. The one thing Sadik hadn't expected from teaching classes full of students was that most of them would be coming to him with questions and concerns about something or other. Not that he wouldn't answer the questions, but he would have to put off correcting the homework he gave and then students would complain about not getting something.

So off he had went to find a place to hide in. And he had found it; just a few feet away from the Great Hall was a small hidden room that boasted no rodents or spiders to be found, though there was quite a lot of dust in the room. Sadik had spent an entire day getting rid of it all. But now, now he had a wonderful little haven away from the students with their whining where he could get his work done on time with nothing to worry about. It was incredibly nice and calming.

One of the more useful things about being a former student of Hogwarts was the fact that he already knew the castle qite well, including many places which had once been busy classrooms, but after a while they were abandoned and fallen in to disrepair. Sometimes the doors turned in to walls so that you could go to a classroom you had been certian was their and there was only wall.

Passing the great hall, he happened across one such classroom. There was a tapestry where he was certian a door had once been. Curiously, he pushed aside the tapestry and pushed the door open. This was once an arithmancy classroom, if he thought right. It was quiet, with charms on it to reduce noise and smelled of sweet, musty wood. He looked over at the blackboard and there was still chalk there. It was strange, almost as if it had been just forgotten about in a day.

He looked over and realised there was someone else in the room. The transfiguration teacher, if he was right. Aldrich didn't know him well - they both seemed like the type to keep to themselves unless approached and as such, hadn't really spoken yet. He was very recognisable though; Aldrich didn't know many people who wore masks over their face. At least, not any teachers, he had met a few treasure hunters who had, either to cover injuries or magic marks or paranoia. He knew one who wore a mask that would cover his eyes if ever a basilsk was detected near. Probably a good precaution to place, considering what they did. He inclined his head in a nod towards the other teacher.
"Hello..." He said softly.

Through the use of magic and pure strength, Sadik had turned that abandoned little classroom into a secondary office all his own. He knew that his own office was perfectly usable, but no one else knew about this one, which made it perfect. Grinning as he looked around the room, he nodded to himself. He would have to make a section for Demir of course, but for now this was perfect.

And since it was, it was time that he got to work. Sadik turned on his heel and stared at the piles of papers he had brought in here this morning. Crossing his arms over his chest and scratching at the stubble on his chin, he contemplated the piles. Up until he saw them, he had been one hundred percent prepared to get his work done. Now that he was actually looking at them... he wasn't so enthusiastic.

He sighed and then jumped as the door opened, looking over to see the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor standing there. Sadik racked his brain for a moment, trying to remember this guy's name. The first started with an A and the last started with a B, but otherwise, Sadik was clueless. He grinned at the other guy, shoving his hands in his pocket. "Hey there! What's up?" He wondered, leaning against the desk he had created out of an old rotted piece of wood.

He blinked at the somewhat unfamiliar expression. He knew what it meant but it took a moment to realise it wasn't literal and admittedly, hsi eyes did dart up at first. "Nothing."He eventually said, "I was just looking around. Sorry If I disturbed you; I didn't know anyone else was in here. He was a nice person, Aldrich thought, from what he'd seen. A bit... odd, yes, but Sadik always seemed to be there for the students. Aldrich decided he should really hang around the other teachers more; perhaps go to one or two of the gatherings that happened, usually at the Hogshead, even though he didn't drink any more.

"Why are you working in here/ Surely your office is a better working enviroment." Though he had to admit, it was delighfully quiet and isolated and the chances of being disturbed were extrmely low.

Sadik took on an amused look when the other teacher's eyes went up, as if trying to literally answer his question. He supposed that the other person wasn't used to the expression, but it was quite interesting to see just how literally a person could take something. "I suppose that's a good thing then." He shrugged, leaning against the desk. "It's fine. This was abandoned before I came in here and fixed it up."

Shrugging again, he looked over the pile of paperwork on his desk. "Not really. As much as I love the students, they do need quite a lot of attention. Which makes it hard to get work done. So... sometimes I come here to get more work done." The teacher's lounge was probably a better option but Sadik didn't work well with peers around. He always wanted to talk instead of doing his work.
