Effects: Potions to make the drinker more lovely in appearance.

Effects: Causes confusion.

Effects: This substance presumably causes the target creature to belch.
Blood-Replenishing Potion
Effects: Medical magic: this potion makes up for lost blood.
Boil Cure Potion
Effects: Simple potions to cure boils.
Bruise-Healing Paste
Effects: Medical magic: this is a thick yellow paste used to heal bruises.
Bulbadox Powder
Effects: Substance which causes the skin of a person who touches it to break out in boils
Burn-Healing Paste
Effects:Medical magic: this is an orange paste is used to heal burns.

Confusing Concoction
Effects: Effect is to cause confusion.

Effects: Medical magic: unknown, but presumably treats a cough.

Effects: Antidote to the Swelling Solution
Doxycide
Effects: Black liquid, usually delivered by spray bottle, used to knock out Doxies so that they can be safely disposed of. The effects last quite a long time.
Draught of Living Death
Effects: Causes someone to fall into a deep sleep.
Draught of Peace
Effects: Calms anxiety and soothes agitation.

Effects: The Elixir of Life extends life, but requires that the drinker consume it regularly for all eternity if the drinker is to maintain his or her immortality
Elixir to Induce Euphoria
Effects: Induces euphoria in the drinker, with occasional side effects of excessive singing and nose-tweaking
Everlasting Elixirs
Effects: Uknown.
Exploding Potion
Effects: Aside from the exploding aspect, unknown.

Family Lines Potion
Effect: Reveals a person's lineage, including parents, siblings, and children.
Felix Felicis
Effects: Once consumed, the elixir gives the drinker an exhilarating sense of confidence and tremendous sense of opportunity. However, if taken in large amounts it can cause giddiness, recklessness, and a dangerous sense of overconfidence. It is toxic in large amounts.
Fever Fudge
Effects: Causes fevers in the person who eats it.
Flesh-Eating Slug Repellent
Effects: Repels flesh-eating slugs.
Fire Protection Potion
Effects: Protects the drinker from magical fire.
Forgetfulness Potion
Effects: Causes the drinker to forget things.

Garrotting Gas
Effects: An invisible gas that knocks people unconscious.
Gender-Switching Potion
Effects: Causes the gender of the drinker to switch. One dose lasts 24 hours.

Effects: Exact effects unknown.
Hate Potion
Effects: Reveals the worst faults and habits of the target person to the drinker
Hiccuping Solution
Effects: Exact effect unknown, but presumably causes hiccups.

Instant Darkness Powder
Effects: When thrown into the air, turns the immediate area pitch black so that common light spells and fire magic will not work in the area of effect, although a Hand of Glory will.
Invigoration Draught
Effects: Exact effect unknown, but presumably invigorates the user

Love Potion
Effects: Does not really causes the person who drinks it to fall in love with someone, as it is impossible to manufacture or imitate love. A love potion simply causes the drinker to develop a powerful infatuation or obsession with the target.

Mandrake Draught
Effects: Will revive those who have been petrified.
Memory Potions
Effects:Effect unknown, but given the characteristics of the Jobberknoll, presumably enhances the drinker's memory.
Mrs. Scower's Magical Mess Remover
Effects: Removes magical messes.
Murtlap Essence
Effects: A solution of strained and pickled Murtlap tentacles, yellow in color. Soothes and heals cuts and other wounds.

Effects: Medical magic: used to heal scarring left by thoughts

Pepperup Potion
Effects: Cures the common cold.
Photograph Potions
Effects: If normal Muggle photographs are developed in certain potions, the resulting images will move.
Polyjuice Potion
Effects: Effect: Transforms a person to look exactly like someone else. One dose lasts for one hour, but doses can be renewed, apparently indefinitely.

Effects: Used to style hair.
Sleeping Draught/Potion
Effects: Causes the drinker to fall into a deep sleep.
Strengthening Solution
Effects: Unknown, but presumably strengthens the drinker.
Swelling Solution
Effects: Causes things to get bigger.

Effects: Causes the drinker to tell the truth.

Unctuous Unction, Gregory's
Effects: Convinces the drinker that the giver is his/her’s very best friend.

V
Veritaserum
Effects: The most powerful Truth Serum available, this colourless, odourless potion (which looks like plain water) forces the drinker to tell the truth.

W
Wartcap Powder
Effects: Substance which causes the skin of a person who touches it to form a thick hard crust
Wit-Sharpening Potion
Effects: Presumably meant to make the drinker think more clearly.
Wolfsbane Potion
Effects: While this potion doesn't cure lycanthropy, it does prevent the extremely dangerous dementia which would otherwise accompany the transformation from human into werewolf.
Wound-Cleaning Potion
Effects: Magical Potion: used on cuts and other open wounds.
